VITA-D 200,000IU INJECTION
Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin important in many health conditions. It is obtained from the diet or made by the skin from exposure to UV light (sunshine) and is later converted to its active form by the liver and kidneys. Vitamin D has been indicated in bone health, cancers, cardiovascular diseases, depression, multiple sclerosis, type 2 diabetes, and weight loss.

INDICATION
Prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiency in the elderly and adolescents with high risk of vitamin D deficiency
Prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiency in adults with high risk of vitamin D deficiency or malabsorption
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Use according to the doctor’s prescription but adjust the dose according to the level of 25-hydroxy vitamin D in the blood. Adverse reactions increase with overdose, so do not administer more than necessary.
Adult: As cholecalciferol, 200,000 IU is injected intramuscularly. Adolescent: As cholecalciferol, 200,000 IU is injected intramuscularly.
Elderly: As cholecalciferol, 100,000 IU is injected intramuscularly. The annual dose should not exceed 600,000 IU as cholecalciferol.
